Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilts

What a beautiful example of two vintage Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilts - you can just see part of a larger scale quilt peeking out from under the top quilt. The small scale quilt is a very labour intensive pattern to hand piece together!
These were in a bedroom of a 1930's style, museum home, Colorado. A lovely example of how a quilt can totally transform a room, giving character and comfort.

If you click on any of the photos in the blog they will enlarge!
